SketchFlow and MvvM Light Toolkit

Apr 7, 2010 at 1:35 PM

Hello!

I would like to generate a SketchFlow project with the toolkit in Blend.  Is it an automatic way to do this?

Thanks

Hi,

There is no automated way to do this, but if you create a SketchFlow project, you should be able to add MVVM Light to it manually. I started writing a blog post on how to add MVVM Light manually to an existing application. I will try and publish that ASAP on my blog http://blog.galasoft.ch

After you created the sketchflow project all you need is 4 simple steps:

1) Open the solution in Visual Studio

2) To the Screens Project, Add a package library reference by nuget to the mvvmlight package

3) Back in Blend, build, select the user control of your Screen_1.xaml

4) In Common Properties / DataContext / New / DataBinding / set the DataSource to the Main Property of the Locator

The latest step has to be repeated for each new view you need.
