Now what I want is that upon tapping the Tile the app will navigate to
And it does but how can I make my ViewModel get those Query String Values.

Hi Guys so I know how to get these values as well.

The problem now is that,

when navigating from the Secondary Tile, the View is created first and does not know about the ViewModel.
I want to create my ViewModel before the View, which is fine I can do that in the App.xaml.cs file, but is this safe and correct to do ?
if so which function can I create my ViewModel in ?

Please Advise =)

Currently I have solved this by using some code in the code behind file of the view to initalize its viewmodel with certain parameters.
It works and things seem to be fine.
