Release Notes

Update Update for Windows 8. Assemblies did not change, only the project template did.

Update: Reduced the depth of the installation path for VSIX packages, that was causing issues on some systems (path too long). The only change is in the installer and the VSIX. If you were able to install correctly, no need to install this version.

Update: corrects a small issue with the binaries on new projects on Windows 8 (WinRT) only.

The issue with the installer is fixed, sorry for the problems folks

This version supports Silverlight 3, Silverlight 4, Silverlight 5, WPF 3.5 SP1, WPF4, Windows Phone 7.0 and 7.5, WinRT (Windows 8).

Support for Visual Studio 2010 and Visual Studio 2012 RC.

Reviews for this release

When using this with VS 2012 I get this design time error: "The type 'EventToCommand' from assembly 'GalaSoft.MvvmLight.Extras.SL5' is built with an older version of the Blend SDK, and is not supported in a Silverlight 5 project." I installed the package, but My assemblies are still versioned I miss something?

This is a very cool project, it has saved me loads of time and I now have to write a lot less code than I did before I discovered this toolkit. My only slight criticism is that the documentation is somewhat limited. Many Thanks
