Uninstalling package "MVVM Light Libraries Only" removes "System.Windows.Interactivity.dll"

description

As I mentioned in the title, I got System.Windows.Interactivity.dll removed from my project references once I uninstalled the package.

Hi,

Just to be sure, you had Sys.Win.Interactivity in your application BEFORE you installed the Nuget package? I will check but I remember I saw that bug already reported for Nuget. Unfortunately there is really nothing I can do about this (except tell the Nuget team again they should fix that).

Cheers

Actually I had Interactivity dll installed by another package: Blend Interactivity for Silverlight.

Laurent,

Regarding your comment on NuGet bug: could this issue (removing Interactivity dll by uninstalling MVVM Light) be caused by some dependency? I remember when I uninstalled MVVM Light package it asked me if I wanted to uninstall Common Locator (a MVVM Light dependency) and I opted for uninstalling that one too (Common Locator).

I don't think that the dependency to the Common Service Locator can cause this. The locator one does not have any other dependencies.

I will do some tests and see what's happening. I know that Nuget is known to do that sometimes.

Cheers
Laurent
